Each morning, the Durango & Silverton Railroad's live steam train will move from lower-right to upper-left, along its railroad tracks. Late each afternoon, the same train will return, moving from left to right toward the webcam location.

Even if there is no live steam train moving across your screen, please enjoy a beautiful view  of the Upper Animas River Valley, In the background of the image are the 9000 foot mountains of the San Juan National Forest.
